Welcome back to school, and a very special welcome to new students!
Things are a little different from normal this year. Many events are canceled and we have to spend a lot of time at home because of coronavirus. Let’s take the chance to study hard, read books, watch movies, and enjoy nature in our local areas.
Now it is a good season to see many flowers blooming in Iwate. Did you see any spring flowers recently? How many different kinds of flowers could you see?
I enjoyed a walk at Takamatsu Pond last week. I was happy to see yellow daffodils. Daffodils are my favorite spring flower. When I see daffodils I think of my home in the UK.
We can also see some very cute spring flowers on Mount Manju in Hanamaki.
Don’t forget to look out for flowers in Iwate this spring! And please take care and stay safe.
