Nice to meet you!
Welcome to all of the new students at Morioka Chuo Junior High School!
My name is Alice Handscomb and I am an English teacher here. I’m from the UK! My hobby is hiking and I climb mountains every weekend.
Last weekend, I enjoyed a snowshoe hike and I brought my red sled (ソリ). I like to slide down the mountains in the snow because it is faster than walking!
Look at the picture! What can you see on my head? Can you see a yellow chick mask? Why am I wearing it? This month, many people around the world celebrated “Easter” on April 4. Rabbits, chicks, and eggs are symbols of Easter, so I wore a chick mask and my friend wore rabbit ears while hiking! We also ate chocolate eggs. Yum!
